  3. I have heard Caterwaul compared to Siouxsie & the Banshees, or "The Cocteau Twins on speed" as one friend of mine said. They've been called Goth, Dark Alternative, and lots of other things, and I suppose those are all fair enough descriptions. But at the end of the day, there is plenty of something in their sound that is uniquely theirs/5(3).

  7. Caterwaul was an American band, based in Phoenix, Arizona, featuring Betsy Martin on vocals and mandolin, Mark Schafer on guitar, Fred Cross on bass and Kevin Pinnt on the drums. Their debut album, The Nature of Things () was released on Lost Arts Records.

  8. Sealed. This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these.
